I'm Jean-Pascal Graziani, a licensed professional tour guide, tour director and interpreter. I hold the official French Guide-Conférencier professional licence. Guide On Call is my direct service for travel agencies, DMCs, cruise operators, coach companies and group organisers who need a professional to deliver a visit, support an itinerary or take on a complicated brief.

For 16 years, I've guided and accompanied international groups in France and across European itineraries, including work with Grand Circle Corporation and Overseas Adventure Travel. That means understanding changing schedules, port arrivals, coach access, guest expectations and the unexpected issues that come with group travel.

My work also includes interpreting for the Assemblée de Corse and developing cultural tours. You can book me for museum and monument visits, full-day guiding and multi-day tour leading, or consult me separately on the design and feasibility of an itinerary. I work alongside your team and existing suppliers; your clients remain your clients.

Licensed for museums and monuments

I hold the official French Guide-Conférencier professional licence. This is an official professional qualification under French law, not just a job description. I am qualified to lead guided visits in French museums and historic monuments, subject to each venue's rules. I also guide international groups through cities, historic districts and cultural sites.

Museums, cities and cultural visits

Art history, architecture, historic districts and local life are central to the way I guide. I go beyond a memorised script: helping people understand what they are looking at, what changed over time and why a place matters.

Different groups require different depths of explanation. The focus may be an iconic monument, an unfamiliar neighbourhood, a museum collection or the relationship between a town and its surrounding region.

Group experience that makes a difference

Coach excursions, cruise stops and multi-day itineraries bring constraints that are easy to overlook when building a tour on paper. Guest expectations, walking pace, changing arrival times, meeting points and transport logistics all affect the result.

Tour director experience also means dealing with unexpected situations and communicating with the people responsible for the group. It does not mean every logistical risk can be eliminated; it means these constraints are considered as part of the assignment.

Interpreting and institutional experience

Alongside guiding, I work as an interpreter, including assignments for the Assemblée de Corse. Interpreting and guiding are different services: language combinations, meeting formats, preparation time and working conditions are assessed and quoted for each assignment.

Tour design and consulting

Agencies may consult me before a tour is sold or before guests arrive. I can help build a cultural visit, shape an itinerary around a group profile, check timing and distances, research content, identify potential logistical constraints and refine the itinerary for delivery on the ground. Consultancy can be commissioned independently of the guiding day.

Tour directing, escorting and American groups

My background includes working with American travellers, managing groups over several days, river-cruise itinerarys and the practical realities of international tour operations. I am comfortable working alongside existing tour leaders, coordinators and local suppliers while protecting the agency’s relationship with its clients.

Driver-guide and transport enquiries

Driver-guide and private-transport requests can be reviewed individually. Passenger transport is a separately regulated activity; no paid chauffeur or VTC service is offered as an automatically bookable product without verifying the applicable professional licences, vehicle and insurance.

Five languages, direct communication

English, French, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese can be used for guiding, subject to the requirements of the assignment. One direct professional contact means the person assessing the brief is also the person taking responsibility for whether it is feasible.

Where I've worked

My work spans Marseille and Provence, Corsica, the French Riviera, Paris, Normandy, Lyon, the Rhône Valley, Burgundy and Alsace. My experience also includes Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Mechelen in the Benelux, Switzerland and itineraries on the Seine, Rhône, Rhine, Moselle, Meuse and Scheldt.

Not every location is interchangeable. For work outside the places I know best, I first review the specific itinerary and transport feasibility rather than promise coverage automatically.
