Whatever Happens is being designed for a narrow set of pre-published, eligible dates and assignments. Its intended value is continuity of the agreed guiding service, rather than a guarantee that one particular individual will always be present.
What the planned commitment means
On an eligible date, a professionally defined guiding assignment would be purchased at a fixed price with its inclusions specified in advance. If the original guide could not deliver, the service would aim to arrange a qualified replacement as part of the operator’s responsibility.
This is a service-delivery concept, not a promise that any destination, group, change of itinerary or request can be covered without limits. The agreed destination, duration, language, group requirements and logistical conditions would define the scope.
Why eligibility matters
A fixed price is meaningful only when the real cost and operational risk are controlled before the booking is offered. Travel time, rail or air availability, possible hotel nights, access restrictions and replacement capacity all matter.
This is why only carefully selected assignments would be listed as eligible. The intention is to avoid a negotiation after purchase, not to hide costs or impose an unsustainable universal guarantee.
